Spring has sprung, and at ACRC we’re using this as an opportunity to declutter while filling hearts with hope. Join us in cleaning out your closet to provide:
- Gently used handbags, diaper bags, and totes for Survivors of Domestic Violence served by Handbags for Hope. Each bag is fitted with a discreet tag that lists TAP’s toll-free legal line 800-374-HOPE, safety planning information, and information about their free life-saving legal and social services. All bags are then distributed to shelters, clinics, and crisis centers across Texas.
- Gently used luggage and duffel bags to support foster care youth served by Partnerships for Children . In addition to creating adoption awareness and helping make beautiful memories for those in foster care, Partnerships for Children provides items like diapers, clothing, and beds to children and families from resource rooms located in CPS offices in Austin and Waco.
- Gently used shoes (any size/any kind but tied together when donated) for Funds2Org. These shoes will be shared with Micro-Enterprises who will then sell them in their communities making way for commerce opportunity and economic sustainability.
