About Kelly Johnson

Kelly Johnson was born in the Chicagoland area of Illinois, but has spent the majority of her life between Corpus Christi and Austin, TX.  A small break from restaurants 3/4 of the way through her 22 year stint landed her in a property management position.  This 3-year change in her career opened her eyes to the amount of stuff that gets left behind by tenants, and she had the idea to start IREP (I Recycle Everything Possible), a junk removal company that focuses on keeping things out of the landfill. She went back to the restaurant business in order to build and develop IREP without taking out loans.

IREP started in 2012 with one pick up truck, a 12 foot trailer, and one part-time employee as Kelly’s side hustle while managing restaurants.  In 2016, she left the restaurant business, made her part-time employee a full-timer, and she dedicated full-time hours to building IREP.

Currently, Kelly has six Junk Haulers, a Sales & Marketing Director, a Sustainability Manager, and an Admin Assistant.  She has four 16-foot box trucks that pull 16-foot trailers, an office, and a storage facility where she sorts all the things that don’t go to the landfill.  She has provided both commercial and residential services for the last 10 years serving those with hoarding disorders with professionalism and dignity.
