March 25|Hill Country Ride For AIDS by Taylor Stockett

The Hill Country Ride for AIDS (HCRA) is the largest fundraiser in Central Texas for HIV/AIDS services. A family-friendly and festive bike ride through the beautiful hill country, the Ride raises funds that are given directly to nine local nonprofits who help those in our community affected by HIV/AIDS. In the past 20+ years the Ride has raised over $10 million. The Ride has been voted “Best Ride” in Austin twice by the Austin Chronicle and the “Best Cycling Event” by Austin Fit Magazine two consecutive years. It is a beloved community event with an amazingly loyal and supportive following.

Date: April 24th, 2021
Location: Krause Springs, Spicewood, TX
Approximately 600+ riders, 250+ volunteers, and 100+ guests are expected to attend/participate each year.

About Tylor Stockett

Taylor Stockett is the Ride Director of the Hill Country Ride for AIDS, an annual fundraising event supporting people impacted by HIV in Central Texas. A University of Texas at Austin alumni, Stockett has worked in HIV/AIDS fundraising, marketing, and event execution since 2015. He is also a LGBTQ advocate, indoor cycling instructor, and avid gardener. He lives in South Austin with his partner and two dogs, Fitz and Franco.
