Dwarfism Awareness Month with Lindsey Hagen

Join us Thursday as we learn about Dwarfism Awareness Month from ACRC member and Club Administration Chair Lindsey Hagen.

The organization Little People of America launched Dwarfism Awareness Month in 2009 in an effort to raise positive awareness and share information about the lives of people with dwarfism. Many people within the dwarfism community have done great things for Dwarfism Awareness Month, including getting local politicians to recognize October as Dwarfism Awareness Month, asking local businesses to sponsor awareness month activities, and raising money to support awareness causes.

We look forward to learning from Lindsey about this topic and hope you will join us at Clay Pit or on Zoom on Thursday at 6pm.

This Club’s meeting will be followed by our Board of Officers meeting.
