Sarah Matt, MD, MBA, serves as District At-Large, primarily leading ACRC's Care Team initiative and supporting in ad-hoc roles. Her professional experience is expansive. She has over a decade of clinical and product management leadership experience in healthcare organizations dedicated to leveraging technology to improve patient care and safety. She has a breadth of healthcare IT experience ranging from direct clinical practice to the production of products for patients and clinical users in the prehospital, ambulatory, and acute settings.
As Vice-President of Product Management at ESO, Sarah is responsible for delivering the company’s product vision by building scalable processes and stellar teams to strategize and execute efficiently and effectively. Prior to ESO, she ran clinical product management and solutions strategy at NextGen Healthcare. A former surgeon, Sarah received her Bachelor’s in biology from Cornell University, her Doctor of Medicine from SUNY Upstate Medical University, and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
In addition to ACRC, she continues to serve the Austin community as a mentor to MBA students at the UT McCombs school of business and through charity care at the Sacred Heart Community Clinic.
