Mary is a shelter veterinarian at the City of Austin Animal Center. She is a 2005 graduate of the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. After five years of practice, she then pursued a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Iowa, focusing on zoonotic diseases such as rabies, and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine. She lives on a farm outside of Austin, where she enjoys spending time with her goats, chickens, ducks, dog, and foster cats.
