Abbey Tootle grew up in Houston and graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Business. After graduation, Abbey worked as an event planner and then an economic development grant writer in Austin, TX. She then moved to Helena, Arkansas, and worked for three years as the Development Director for the KIPP Delta charter school network.
While living in Arkansas, Abbey became active in the Helena Rotary Club where she served on the board of directors, as the GSE coordinator and as webmaster. In 2008, Abbey was named Rotarian of the Year and a Paul Harris Fellow. Abbey met her husband, James, in a yoga class in Clarksdale, Mississippi, and easily convinced him to move to Austin in 2008. She and James founded the Artists Screen Printing Cooperative in 2010 which now boasts 35 member artists and recently moved into a brand new studio in East Austin. Abbey is a Project Manager at Apple (and no, she doesn’t know when the next iPhone is launching).
When not busy at work or being a dedicated Rotarian, you can find Abbey training for her next marathon with Team Rogue.
