Janet Abou Elias is a Political Affairs Intern at The Borgen Project, an innovative national campaign to end world poverty. She studies International Relations and Global Studies with a focus on International Security at the University of Texas at Austin. Beyond this, Janet has an interest in U.S-Middle East relations and Lebanese politics and popular culture. She enjoys having insightful conversations on current foreign relations issues. Janet also spends her time practicing Wushu, learning Turkish and Chinese, and working as a real estate agent.
