Taylor Stockett – Hill Country Ride for AIDS – Virtual Meeting
April 9 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Tonight, we will be hearing from Taylor Stockett with Hill Country Ride for AIDS. The COVID-19 pandemic has thrown a wrench into the ride this year – Taylor will tell us about how HCRA is adapting!
We have gone virtual for awhile – all our meetings will be held at the same time, but we will be using Zoom so that each of us can participate from a remote location. Anyone is welcome to join our meetings, we love visitors. Please use the following information to access out meetings via Zoom:
Taylor Stockett is the Executive Director of the Hill Country Ride for AIDS. A University of Texas at Austin alumni, Stockett has worked in HIV/AIDS fundraising, marketing, and event execution for six years. Taylor is also a civil rights advocate, indoor cycling instructor, and avid gardener. He lives in South Austin with his partner, a cold brew in hand, and two energetic puppies.
The mission of the Hill Country Ride for AIDS is to raise funds for local agencies providing HIV/AIDS services, care, and prevention efforts. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ride is going virtual to continue raising that critical awareness and financial support for its beneficiaries. Those with compromised immune systems are more susceptible to poor health outcomes related to COVID-19. So it is essential we give generously to the agencies on the front lines providing quality, life-saving HIV/AIDS care and services. They need us now more than ever before. You’ll hear about what it means for the Ride to be Going Virtual this year and ways to get involved. www.hillcountryride.org #HCRA2020
