Rotary District Governor’s Visit with Beverly Luedke

Beverly Luedke
District 5870 District Governor 2021-22

Beverly is a true rose of Central Texas having been born
and raised in Rosebud, Texas. After high school, she
studied at Baylor University and the University of TexasAustin and received her BS Degree and Certificate in
Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Health
Science Center of Dallas. Beverly practiced for 35 years,
25 years in private practice in Rosebud, Clifton and
Rockdale, Texas specializing in orthopedic and geriatric
care.
Beverly, a first-generation Rotarian, joined the Rotary
Club of Rockdale in 2006 serving as Foundation Chair and
was honored with the Rotarian of the Year award in
2010,11 and 12. After retiring and relocating to Bell
County, Beverly joined the Rotary Club of Temple South
in 2013. She served Temple South as its President in
2016-17 as well as Service Committee Chair and served
on the Club Scholarship Selection Committee and various fundraiser committees to this present
date.
Beverly has served District 5870 as DAP Grant Committee Chair from 2016-19 and is also
currently serving as an Assistant Governor. She was recently selected as Governor Nominee
2021-22. She has served on the Global Grant Scholarship Selection Committee and the District
Foundation Gala Committee. Beverly is a Paul Harris and Polio Plus Society member, a White
Hat member, a Major Donor +3 member, a Bequest Society +4 member and most recently
received the Citation for Meritorious Service Award from The Rotary Foundation.
Beverly married her high school sweetheart Larry who is a pharmacist and owner of a
pharmaceutical benefit management company in Belton. They have two children, Matt
(deceased) and Lauren and husband Aaron who live in Belton and their first grandson Kohen.
